A microcosm of photography by online graduatesStunning cultural and diverse photography from graduates of the London College of Communication’s groundbreaking online MA course is to be showcased at a leading London gallery this March.Beyond Borders is the work of graduates of the LCC’s Photography MA, completed entirely online – reflecting the current monumental changes within the photography industry in this technological age. Graduates come from as far away as Mozambique, Japan and Turkey.The exhibition is to be held at East London’s prestigious photographic gallery, theprintspace. This inspiring gallery and thought provoking environment for photographers in multi-cultural London is the perfect location to bring the graduates’ work together in a fascinating microcosm of photography.Amongst the amazing fusion of work are stories such as Belarus seen through the eyes of an American photographer living in Sweden and a disparate collection of Londoners photographing their own visions of the city, shot on everything from medium format cameras to mobile phones.Beyond Borders promises to be a melting pot of world photography from an exceptional group of photographers, eager to share their stories. The exhibition opens at theprintspace with a private view on10 March 7pm-10pm and runs to 1 April from 9am-7pm Monday-Friday.Photographers exhibited include: Michael Barrientos, Brett Buchanan, Antrim Caskey, Mark Chilvers, Rhian Clugston, Dean C. K. Cox, Silva Ferretti, Lizzie Fleetwood Hartnoll, Kate Hooper, Anna Johansson, Chris Leslie, Jonathan Lewis, Maria Moschou, Rafael Sanchez and Richard Schofield.
